FYI - IMPORTANT
We are on a septic system, SO - Please do not flush sanitary napkins or tampons down the toilet. Also, do not pour grease or oil down the drain, please pour in empty bottle provided, under the kitchen sink and dispose of in the garbage. We are on a septic tank and this will cause it to clog and the toilets, sinks, showers to back up. Not very pleasant.
All garbage must be bagged in order for the garbage collector to pick up. Beer or other bottles can be left in the cases and set out by the garbage bins. Garbage is normally collected on Wednesday and Saturday. If they do not collect it please send us an email at donnarees@msn.com and we will have it removed.
Please turn lights and electronics off when leaving a room or when not in use. Electricity is very expensive on the island and we strive to leave a small footprint on our earth.

Please take care of our home as if it were your own. We have worked very hard to have a special place to enjoy our family. Before you leave, please take out the garbage, load and run the dishwasher, hang the wet towels. Do not strip the beds, the cleaning person will do that. Thank you!

Pre-packaged foods are expensive, so bring your favourite snack items like nuts or snack bars. Coffee. Diapers, Wipes.
Food items will be higher in price than in the US as everything is imported.
You cannot bring fresh food items such as fruits and vegetables.
We are frequently asked if you can take back a conch shell. You absolutely can, but it has to be in your checked baggage. It will be confiscated otherwise.
