Bahamas Travel Requirements
The Bahamas has a set of protocols that are well laid out and planned.
As of May 1, 2021 - Vistors who have completed both vaccines prior to travel are not required to have a PCR test before arriving in the Bahamas.
Visitors who have not completed their vaccines are required to obtain a negative PCR test within 5 days prior to travel. You will then go to the Bahamas Travel Website https://travel.gov.bs/ Here you will fill out the travel form (Cost is $60.) and upload your negative test results. Be sure your name is the same as it is on your travel documents. Once you apply it is a quick turnaround. The site is working very efficiently. Bring with you a copy of your negative test and two copies of the Health Visa. Five days after your arrival, you are then required to obtain a PCR test. This can be done at Integrated Medical Center in Marsh Harbour. The cost is included in your Health Visa application. If coming for a week's visit this test can be used to enter the US. It is now required you have a negative test to enter the US and it must be taken within 3 days (72hours) of departure.
