Casuarina Point is a unique location with beautiful, crystal clear shallow water. This area boasts some of the prettiest white sand beaches in the world, one of which is at your doorstep. The reef that protects the bay provides for calm waters unlike many oceanfront beaches. With several small uninhabited islands in the area you can always find something to do. There are blue holes, shoals, flats, sand banks and at least three very private beaches for swimming and picnics. If you like fly fishing for the elusive bone fish you need not go any further than right out the front door. Several of our guests have caught them wading less the five hundred feet from the house. The sand banks in the area are a great place for the young and old to discover new things like rays, star fish, shelling and sand dollars which we can guarantee that you will find. Because there is not a lot of ambient light, you can view millions of stars at night.

There is much to do, so to get out and explore.

For your use there are four kayaks, one of which is a tandem and the option to rent our small motorized boat. The thirteen foot Boston Whaler will allow you to venture further and discover even more.  Our home is situated such that the beach is on one side and the canal access is on the other therefore you will be able to use the boat regardless of tides. Our home is the only one in Casuarina Point that has no restriction due to tides.

Should you decide on having us arrange deep sea, bonefish or snorkeling charters the captains can pick you up at your doorstep. Once again the only place in Casuarina where this can be done.

Our home is elevated for good breezes and provides spectacular views of the blues and greens of the bay during the day and millions of stars at night. Watching the moon or sunrise over the bay can be an exhilarating experience.  Beach chairs are provided along with lounge chairs for the sun deck. On the covered porch we have an outdoor dining table with seating, Adirondack chairs, lounge chairs and a stainless steel Kitchenaid grill. There is a Tiki Hut on the beach with beach chairs that provide you some shade on the beach and a nice place to have lunch.

Key Lime Beach House and Mango Beach House are very well outfitted as listed below with ample space and very comfortable furnishings as you will see by the photos and items listed. Wireless internet and cable throughout, local and internet phone provided.

3 ensuite bedrooms, all with spectacular beach views, top quality furnishings, linens and towels. 1 king bed with double shower & walk-in closet with entrance to covered deck. 1 queen bed with shower and large closet and entrance to covered deck. 1 queen bed with tub/shower & closet. All bedrooms have flat screen TV’s and excellent views of the beach, bay, ocean and surrounding islands. For those who may like to sleep late the bedrooms have blackout curtains for the areas where sunlight may be an issue.

The living area has leather sofa, love seat and chair with ottoman. A 52” Flat Screen Smart TV, DVD player, IPod doc and surround sound. Games, Movies, Music provided, Books and Cookbooks.

Inside dining table has seating for eight. Breakfast bar seating for three, porch dining seating for six.

Kitchen and breakfast bar have beautiful granite countertops, full size refrigerator with icemaker, gas range, microwave, dishwasher, hand mixer, blender, Cuisinart grind & brew coffee maker, can opener, toaster, fondue pot, food processor, flatware service for 12, cooking utensils, cutlery, bake ware, dishes-service for 12, beach coolers, glass and insulated tumblers, barware, cookware and a large variety of spices.

The bar area between the kitchen and living has a 50lb ice machine.

Our beachfront vacation home is a great place for family get togethers, fly fishing, bone fishing, deep sea fishing, kayaking, shelling, picnicking, boating, snorkeling, swimming, beach combing, shelling, barbequing, exploring or simply relaxing. Guaranteed not to hear sirens or auto traffic.

Fell in love!

This was our first time to Abaco and we fell in love! The island is very welcoming, safe and easy to navigate. We hope to come back with our kids next summer. As for the KL House, the location was excellent on fishing flats. It is as relaxing or as adventurous as you desire. Fishing for bone fish in the dark or floating down the beach with a Sands beer - all the options. The house was very nice and comfortable. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had all we needed. A catered dinner by Debbie with AGB Catering was a great way to start the vacay. Reef fishing with Charles was fun and we had Porgie to eat for the week. Wally’s was our fav restaurant and Pete’s Pub a fun bar experience. The kayaks, beach palapa, chairs, boat, free US phone line were nice touches. Also the temperature in Aug (mid 80’s) was a nice break from the Southern 95+. A fantastic relaxing adult vacation before the school year begins!!

Beach lovers

Our multi generational family of 11 rented the Lime and Mango houses for a week in February 2018. The houses were very well-equipped, spacious, clean and comfortable. The beautiful beach was just a few yards from both houses and very private with a spectacular view. The water was shallow and calm enough near the houses for the kids to romp and play and spend lots of time building sand castles. The houses were located so that we could our alternated meals and spend family time together. There was something for everyone. We used the boat so the fishermen in our group could get out on the water. They fished and snorkled everyday and even caught our dinner some nights. The owners were very pleasant and helpful .They live nearby and were available to give local information. They seemed to go out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. It was obvious they put a lot of thought into making this place a true paradise. The houses are somewhat rural which is what we were looking for and we had the beach to ourselves. We felt very safe and the local folks were friendly. We hope to be able to go back someday. Thank you Donna and Jamie for creating such a warm and inviting place to enjoy. We made great family memories that will last a long time.

Wish we were still there!!

Key Lime beach house was amazing! The beautiful views were from every room. Even the master bedroom shower had a window with a view! The house is immaculate and well layed out, especially for our group. We had 3 couples total and 2 little kids (1 and 2 years old) and it was perfect. We never felt cramped or on top of eachother. It felt cozy and comfortable like our home. The owners made our experience even better! They worked with our schedule and went above and beyond to accommodate us! Donna is the nicest person! The activities (kayaks, paddle board, lounge chairs, beach chairs, sand toys) made it so fun! We had the best experience staying in the Key Lime beach house and would highly recommend staying here!!

Sorry I am late in responding. Jamie and I enjoyed having you at the house and hope you will visit again. We always like having families at the house. Hope all is well!

Reyer Family Vacation

This was an amazing vacation for our family - one we will never forget. The house was beautiful and new inside and out. The furniture was both pretty and comfortable, the cooking utensils and appliances are all new, everything was bright and tropical and it felt like it was a resort of our own. The view from the house was breathtaking . The owners provided many extras that made our stay special - they provided us with linens, bath towels, beach towels, beach mats and bags, a cooler to bring to the beach, fishing equipment and more. There was even a stand alone icemaker to fill the cooler with. The 3 single kayaks and 1 tandem kayak that came with the house was a lot of fun for our family to use all week - we used them multiple times throughout each day. We brought our own snorkling equipment and used that a lot as well. Our favorite place to eat was at Pete's Pub - great food and atmosphere. We would love to go back and stay at the Key Lime Beach House again and again and would recommend it to anyone who asked. The owners made this a vacation that we will never forget - It was both relaxing and fun. What fun it was to see your family snorkeling and catching fish. Even though the weather wasn't perfectly sunny every day, you were out enjoying what Casuarina Point has to offer. We loved sharing our home with your family. Have a great year and see you again. Jamie & Donna

Key Lime Beach House Casuarina Point

My family HIGHLY recommends this home and location. The house is beautiful and immaculate with most rooms looking out over the water- just steps from the beach. The house has everything you need to relax, cook and be comfortable- there was nothing we were missing. The water is incredible- my husband is an avid fly fisherman, he thought the fly fishing that he could access with the boat, kayak or wading outside the house was A+. The children and I enjoyed walking out in the low tides, kayaking around the bay to spot sea turtles, walking on the beach and relaxing. We also rented two paddle boards. You'll need a car. Groceries and diving etc are an easy 30 min drive to Marsh Harbor. We went scuba diving/snorkeling 3 days with Dive Abaco in Marsh Harbor. The Marsh Harbor airport is 30 minutes away and there are rental car agencies at the airport- so it's really easy. Casaurina Point is a remote, quiet, safe destination. We grilled all of our meals- usually fresh fish. But I did hear that Pete's Pub which is only about 10-15 minutes from the home is fabulous. New menu every day- whatever is fresh caught. We only had bugs one evening that was very calm after a rain. Otherwise the breeze was enough to keep them away. We could not have been happier with our experience- highly recommended! Dear Mark, Kristi and Family, Thank you very much for your kind comments. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and sincerely hope you visit with us again soon. Kind regards, James & Donna.

Our Fabulous Bahamas Getaway!

We left the world behind and entered into complete relaxation and contentment. Donna and Jamie were wonderful hosts, showing us the lay of the land and sea and were very accommodating with everything we needed. The home is both beautiful and comfortable with unbelievable views. It was just enough to fill our days with snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, exploring and fun. We will definitely be back next years with our families. The Best Vacation Ever!

This is a beautiful, large, new vacation home 25 minutes south of Marsh Harbour on a breath-taking bay. Furnishing are top quality, including the bedding and towels. Large open kitchen, dining and living room separate master bedroom on one side of house with king bed, walk-in closet with lots of shelving, bath with large double shower, and two queen bedrooms on other side of house, one with tub/shower and one with shower. The master bedroom and queen (w/shower only) have sliding glass doors to deck which holds table w/6 chairs, 2 loungers, 4 adirondack chairs, and large gas grill. The other queen bedroom has window overlooking beach. All bedrooms and great room have tv's but I don't know if anyone turned theirs on as we spent most of our time on the deck or in the water. The sand is powder white, lots of beautiful shells, sand dollars, starfish, crabs, bonefish, beautiful large blue crabs, even saw 3 sharks. Don't hesitate to ask Jamie & Donna for help - they truly made our vacation completely stress-free. The arranged for taxi pick-up at airport and deliver to car rental A&P where we rented van, let us know what supplies were at house before we stopped at grocery store for 2-day supply of food and headed to Key Lime Beach House. Easy directions to house. They arranged for local fisherman Garth to take group deep sea fishing - great experience! They set up day of golf at Treasure Cay - we ended up staying there for pizza night and music - that was a blast! If you go to Pete's Pub be sure to climb steps in back for great views of beach. There's a guy who awesome conch salad and other seafood from a colorful painted building on wheels that was parked about block from the stop light in Marsh Harbour that I highly recommend looking for when you are in town. Also enjoyed Curly Tails for dinner one night - or just try the appetizers upstairs - nice friendly staff. Iggy Biggy across the street had best prices for souvenirs. We took ferry to Hopetown one afternoon and that was a very charming little town to walk around. My personal favorite thing about the whole trip was looking at the stars from the deck before the moon came up. I haven't seen that many stars since I was a kid. All of the comforts of home and everything brand new including flat screen TV's, cable, wireless Internet, and free long distance to the states. Grilled fresh fish every night and had our side dishes delivered by a local woman that were wonderful. This Is the perfect location, totally private and on the best bonefishing flat in Casurina. We watched and caught tailing bonefish right in front of the house! The views of Cherokee sound are beautiful from the spacious decks. Thank you to Donna and Jamie for taking such good care of us! A Wonderful Week in Paradise

My husband and two small children and I spent a wonderful week in Abaco at this lovely beach house. The house itself is beyond description. It is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and, with small children, it was great to have a washer/dryer. We took advantage of having the boat and took daily fishing, snorkeling and exploring trips. The beaches were perfect for my children as it is shallow for as far as you can walk and there are no big waves so they could play in the water, on the beach, and explore the area. At low tide we'd walk to the sandbar and hunt for sand dollars and other shells. My children loved seeing all of the hermit crabs and starfish. It was really an incredibly special spot. The owners of the property couldn't be more friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to make sure our week away was as good as it could be. My husband did a bonefish charter and caught 13 bonefish and said the captain of the charter was great. Everyone we met on Abaco was kind and gracious. We would definitely go back and would recommend it to both adults looking for a relaxing week or families with children.
